The Innkeeper at “Gasthaus zur Post“

By the late 18th century, the Haueis family became the registered owner of the building that today houses the Posthotel. An Inn to accommodate guests was first opened to the public in 1964. A bowling alley was added to keep guests occupied. In 2014, the Hotel was sold to Werner Flunger, Deputy Mayor of St. Anton, who leased the “Gasthaus zur Post“ Restaurant to former owner and innkeeper Edi Haueis.

Edi Haueis is a passionate innkeeper and a wonderful host who loves what he does. He exudes enthusiasm for his guests—and he is a wonderful chef.

His food is something that you have to try! The attention to detail is stunning and nothing in this inn is overlooked.

Edi cares deeply about offering guests a delightfully fulfilling stay so that they may leave with cherished memories and a renewed sense of wellbeing.
